“Aaron Rizzo is a multi-talented powerhouse.”

“More importantly, it positions Aaron Rizzo as one of those independent artists operating outside easy genre labels. He exists somewhere between indie rock traditionalist, soundtrack composer, and emotionally volatile singer-songwriter — a combination that makes NONSTOP DEATHMATCH feel less like a playlist-ready release and more like a document of someone trying to process life in real time.”

BIOGRAPHY

Aaron Rizzo is an alternative rock artist from Rochester, NY. By early adolescence, an obsession with picking apart songs manifested itself into a slew of original projects. Rizzo rotated through genres and instruments quickly, eventually leading to proficiency as a session player and multi-instrumentalist in his early 20s.

By way of producing, engineering and gigging, Rizzo has established himself as a compelling solo artist. To date, Aaron has independently released four full-length solo albums titled Blck Tee Shrt (2017), Mirror Talk Blue (2021), Anchor (2023) and NONSTOP DEATHMATCH (2025) and has recorded/collaborated on dozens of songs by other artists. His original music has been featured on the hit television shows Shameless, Black-ish and a T-Mobile ad. Aaron also won the award for best score at the Sick N’ Wrong film festival for his original score in the film Optic Nerve.

Much of Rizzo’s influence comes from the diverse palette of music that was played in his house growing up. Everything from the shiny, chorus-coated guitars of the 1980s to aggressive grunge and rock tones of the 90s and early 2000s have left fingerprints on his music. As a producer, an obsession with exploring new sounds has always been a cornerstone of his music. This curiosity, whether subtle or obvious, can always be heard in his songs.
